Free Health Camp for Children affected by the earthquake

Goldhunga, Kathmandu, 18 June 2016

More than 35 children coming from economically deprived families of earthquake hit area of Goldhunga in the suburb of Kathmandu City got medical checkup and free medicines on 18 June 2016 because of a free health camp organized by Himalayan Home.

At the free health camp held at Nirvana Boarding School in Goldhunga, children were treated for common diseases like cold, fever, ENT, oral health, etc. Free medicine was also distributed, which was donated by Graduate Pharmacist Association of Nepal(GPAN).

A team led by a senior Pediatrician Dr. Ananta Dutta Shrestha under the Himalayan Home had provided service at the camp.

One of the parents, Mrs. Sunita Maharjan who came with her two children appreciated the effort made by Himalayan Home to bring such an experienced Doctor for the treatment of their children and wished for more such activities in their area in future.

Pradyumna Raj Shrestha, President of Himalayan Home had expressed his satisfaction for being able to make a small contribution to the children and the society. He thanked all those involved in this Free Health Camp and look forward to such cooperation in the future too.
